I have a pot of 'Earlicheer' that has bloomed for me. WOW! I wish I had thousands of these double white miniatures. The fragrance is overwhelming, too. My mixed miniatures are quickly surfacing in the nursery with the first blooms expected any day now.

My mixed miniatures are in full bloom right now. The tallest are 10" while the smallest hover around 5". A very nice and vigorous mix.

A second flush of bloom from two varieties in my mixed miniature Narcissus collection started about a week and a half ago. I will have pictures soon. Even in the last couple of days, the odd unique miniature has popped out a bloom. This is a spectacular mix. I am very pleased with it. One of the two approaches 18" tall.

Narcissus Salome and N. Chinese Sacred Lily both in full bloom. Heavenly scent and lovely harbinger of spring.

February Gold, Jetfire in full bloom. Looks fabulous with the Azaleas and Spirea, amaryllis and freesias all in full bloom here in Zone 9.
My dogwoods are also in bloom. I'll post pics soon.

Zone 8/9 California My narcissus sprouted about 3 weeks ago but it took me this long to figure out what the mystery plant was in the pot. I don't know what type it is and it was kept completely dry all summer. I love bulbs that thrive on neglect.

My last neglected patches of paperwhites are blooming now. They started in November and have kept it up until now. They are GREAT for indoor cut flowers; such a heavenly scent. I have a system for stretching out their blooming period for 5 months. Since it is so dry here in Arizona (zone 8), they don’t start growing unless I water them. The ones I water in September sprout in October and bloom in November. Every month after September I start watering a new patch, to ensure continuous bloom. By the time December rolls around we usually get enough rain that even the patches I haven’t watered start to grow. Those are blooming now. I love these paper whites; they give armfuls of fresh flowers through the winter.

I think I've identified my paperwhites as Chinese Sacred Lilies. Everything I've read about them fits my bulbs perfectly. I started with a few dozen three or four years ago, and now I have hundreds of bulbs (maybe close to a thousand). I have to dig them up every other year if I don't want my dirt to become solid bulbs. I guess I'll have to start selling them on ebay (I've found this fun). I'd say that everyone in a warm climate should definitely try these (your at a good source). I'd like to pick up some of the double variety Constantinople though.
