Foliage started early this year with my Lilium candidum. Tip damage occurred due to the hard freezes, but they appear to be doing very nicely. The tallest are still only 4" out of the ground. My hybrid lilies are still in a flat in the greenhouse, planted late this winter after a long open storage period. It seems to be recovering nicely, and I hope to plant outside in the yard early this spring. |

zone 8/9 Oriental, asiatic and orienpet lilies emerging. Some are 7 inches tall. It seems very early but I am still getting used to this zone. Everything grows so well here (Sierra foothills, CA) |
