We just put in new flowerbeds and distributed bulbs throughout. We were in the process of adding a layer of cypress mulch as a weed guard when we remembered the bulbs. Will this mulch hurt the bulbs or keep them from coming up? |

Dear Jennifer:
Thank you for your question. I do not believe the mulch should be an hindrance to flower bulb growth as long as you planted your bulbs at recommended depths. I am assuming, also, that you used no more than 2-4" of mulch (settled). |

Yes, I did plant at the recommended depth and the mulch is about 3" so yes, we should be fine. Thanks for your reply! |
