Thanks for that info. I did not know that about the roots. Now I know to be carefull. I thought they dried up when the tops were finished like most others. Learn something new every day. |

Thanks. I'll probably wait till fall so I won't need to dig so deep. I got 2 bulbs out last fall for a trade, but they backed out, so I put them in pots. The ones in the garden are 8 to 10 inches tall ... |

Yes it is. They are full of new leaf growth as I write this. I was going to divide them this past winter, but didn't get around to it. Can it be done during the summer after all foliage die ... |
