Thanks for that info. I did not know that about the roots. Now I know to be carefull. I thought they dried up when the tops were finished like most others. Learn something new every day. Smile

Thanks. I'll probably wait till fall so I won't need to dig so deep. I got 2 bulbs out last fall for a trade, but they backed out, so I put them in pots. The ones in the garden are 8 to 10 inches tall ...
